Education & Experience
Dr. Crowder’s educational journey began at Georgia State University, where he earned dual degrees in chemistry and biology, followed by a Bachelor’s in Vision Science and a Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University’s College of Optometry. His extensive training includes externships focused on low vision, ocular disease, and vision therapy, equipping him with a diverse skill set to serve his community effectively.

Away from the office, Dr. Crowder enjoys kayaking, fly fishing, and spending quality time with his wife and two daughters, Lily and Hazel, in their hometown of Chattanooga. His passion for community service continues, exemplified by his ongoing volunteer work with Prevent Blindness and participation in the InfantSEE program, demonstrating his commitment to both his family and the well-being of his community.
