
Dr. Prodan grew up in Chicago Illinois where she completed her undergraduate studies in Biology and Chemistry at Elmhurst College, and then went on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. After graduating from Optometry School, she further pursued a Residency in Vision Rehabilitation at Appelbaum Vision in Bethesda Maryland, a private practice offering a unique combined approach to Vision Therapy and Occupational Therapy. She is an active member of the College of Vision Development (COVD), and specializes in treatment of amblyopia, strabismus, binocular vision dysfunction, vision-related learning problems, stroke/concussion, computer vision syndrome, and visual-vestibular disconnect. Dr. Prodan is thrilled to now be living in Chattanooga, working as the Director of Vision Therapy at Crowder Eye Center.
Dr. Prodan values the importance of educating the community and other health specialities on vision development and has a special interest in providing eye care for children who have learning disabilities, developmental delays, and sensory processing disorders. She is passionate about providing a safe space for all patients to feel welcome and heard. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling to new countries.
